It was 1957 when the then Soviet Union launched Sputnik, the first man made satellite. Great leaps forward for mankind, however, being at the height of the Cold War at a time when the Soviet Union and United States considered themselves enemies. If the Soviets could send a rocket into space, they could certainly launch an attack on North America. Dell posted last week that it has managed to generate in excess of $3 million of computer sales from its Twitter account. Dell have been solidly "twittering" for nearly two years now and says that $1 Million have been sold in the last 6 months alone. read more

After losing 30% of its staff recently in cut backs and despite being chosen to help launch the new Sasha Baron Coen film Bruno, MySpace has finally been surpassed by Facebook as the number one Social Media site in the US. Its only a matter of time before the same is true within Australia. read more

This will most likely be introduced into their core service.
