Dell posted last week that it has managed to generate in excess of $3 million of computer sales from its Twitter account. Dell have been solidly "twittering" for nearly two years now and says that $1 Million have been sold in the last 6 months alone.   read more

Google looks like it will be sourcing content from Twitter and other micro-blogging services as part of their introduction to real-time search. This will most likely be introduced into their core service. The search engine DeepDyve.com will release a trio of free tools Wednesday that allows Web sites and blogs to display specific related results by inserting a few lines of code, as well as allowing users to search on large blocks of type to return more relevant searches.    read more
